The building I got to explore was known to hold the higher level psychiatric patients.
These patients, whether they were genuinely in need of help or showing
no signs of mental health issues, were tested on and used as guinea pigs.
This specific floor is where patients lived, they weren't allowed to leave under any
circumstances and experienced tests like lobotomies, electro shock therapy, twin testing, etc.

By the 1950s, the facility housed over 9,000 patients and featured over 100 structures, including its own power plant, fire station, and train station.
The advent of psychiatric medications, such as thorazine, reduced the need for long-term confinement, leading to a decline and its final closure in November 1996. A place that started out to help people was turned into a place of torture and evil against those seeking help, guidance and treatment.
even in death they’re being tortured, people break into these buildings, vandalizing and ransack everything that can be found.

may their souls and minds rest in peace.
